Description
To make Dalmore King Alexander III, Master Distiller Richard Paterson selected a range of differently aged malts matured in a mixture of French wine casks, Madeira drums, sherry butts, Marsala barrels, port pipes and bourbon barrels from Kentucky.
Six different cask finishes are exquisitely curated to create a one of a kind whisky with a rich and enticing flavour profile. This pioneering expression is truly a fitting reward for those with the courage to stand apart and make a difference.
NOSE: Chocolate and nuts, both flesh and shells, toffee, touches of spiced raisin and vanilla
PALATE: Measured sugary sweetness to start, with orange and vanilla backed up by sweet raisins, raspberry and winey touches
