Suntory Hakushu 18 Year Old Limited Edition Japanese Whisky is an exclusive Japanese release of the 18 year old Hakushu Single Malt Whisky. Hakushu was built in 1973 at the foot of the Southern Japanese Alps, a location chosen by Suntory so it could provide a contrast to the style of spirit produced at Yamazaki. A second distillery was built in 1981 which has stills of varying shapes and sizes which are able to produce a wide range of distillate character.
