A stunning 30-year-old single malt from Springbank. This limited release is a perfect encapsulation of Springbank’s character; sweet and syrupy with a waxy mouthfeel, this 30-year-old is worth the wait.
Released as part of the distillery’s Millennium collection, this is a truly special expression. Bottled at 46% abv, the dram is free from chill-filtration and artificial coloring.
NOSE: typical Springbank – tropical fruits, especially pineapple, tangerines and peaches – then vanilla tones develop
PALATE: Sweet with notes of ripe citrus – again the tangerines, plus a light peat smoke – Turkish honey and sorbet with some coconut
FINISH: tropical fruits on the finish with waxy tones, some mint
